We are just 2 weeks away from NCS #4 on the high banked super speedway of Machesney Park Raceway. Get those hot rods ready for the fastest 1/16 mile oval in the country! Remember, if you are unable to make the Friday portion of the race, you can race the mains on Saturday for a reduced $35 sign in fee. Plus every NCS race you attend this year, gets you another chance of winning a new Predator Sprint Car! See you there!

QSAC Central District is getting ready for round 1 of the Tri-State Championships this Saturday at the "Mini-Madhouse" in Ingalls, IN! Who is going to take home the jackets this year and be crowned the 2014 Tri-State Champion! A very good series with some of the best Quarter Scale drivers in the nation competing at 3 different tracks in 3 different states. Hope to see you there!

A successful Tri-State Series race #1 was held at IQSR this past Saturday! We had a grand total of 46 cars in 4 classes and some of the best short track racing you will find anywhere! Way to go guys, way to support the Tri-State series! Congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone at IQSR for breakfast and lunch along with putting on an awesome show!

Get those hot rods ready for Tri-State Series race #2 in Lansing, Michigan on August 9th. It is one of the central district's most unique tracks being a tri-oval, it makes for very exciting racing and allows for high speed passing in all 3 turns! It is quarter scale's version of Pocono in the great state of Michigan, do not miss it!

Great time had by all at Tri-State Series race #2 in Lansing, MI. A special thanks to all club members at GLSQR for putting on a flawless race and feeding everyone a great lunch!

Miami Valley Quarter Scale Racers is having their inaugural race this Saturday in Xenia, OH. Sign ups start at 8am for this race and all other info is listed on their website at www.mvqsr.com. Come out and support this new club if you can. This track looks very nice and is on the property of a full scale track, so the possibilities are endless for this new club! Hope to see you there!

It's finally here! QSAC Speed Week kicks off next week, it is quarters scale's King's Royal, and competition will be outstanding, with the best drivers in each division fighting it out for a QSAC National Championship jacket and trophy. We will have great door prizes given away at each track along with prizes from QSAC and QSAC manufacturers at the NCS Final Showdown. One of the prizes is a complete Predator Sprint Car donated by the owner of Predator, Joel Hughes! That is sure to make anybody's 2014 season brighter!

There is also special races hosted by MPR and Riverfront R/C Speedway going on this weekend that will be a great chance for some testing before Speed Week begins. MPR is hosting a money race on Saturday for those traveling west to Iowa and Riverfront Speedway is hosting a race on Sunday for racers to get some time on the track before NCS #5. Please travel safe and I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Final leg of the Tri-State series is this weekend on the high banked oval at Machesney Park Raceway! Who is going to win the championship jacket in each division and take home the hardware? I am very proud to have this series so close to home and want to thank Orrin Sunde for making it possible! Good luck to everyone and drive safely.
